ICC Chimney & Venting Pipe
We love ICC Chimney here at Green Energy Options because we think they make the best chimney and connector pipe. International Chimney Company was started by a small partnership with over 75 years of collective hearth experience in Quebec, Canada. Their Class A Chimney (AKA “Metalbestos”) is tested and listed to the ULC S-629 chimney standard.
The ULC standard is generally considered the toughest residential chimney standard in the world.
The USA standard requires the chimney to withstand three 10-minute 2100°F chimney fires.

Ecofan By Caframo
Ecofans generate their electricity from the surface heat of your wood stove and circulate warm air throughout the room, increasing your comfort. The Ecofan generates its electricity through the temperature difference. The base must make contact with a heat source of at least 150°F (65°C) and the top of the fan must remain cool. The Ecofan needs to draw cooler air from behind to operate. The actual rotation of the blade as well as the cooler air and the heat source are the essential elements needed for the Ecofan to operate.
